Dr. Karunasri Janga
​Dr. Karunasri Janga attended Guntur Medical College, Guntur and received her M.B.B.S degree from N.T.R University of Health Sciences in India in 2007. She completed her Pediatric residency in India and received the degree from N.T.R University of Health Sciences in India in 2010. She practiced Pediatric medicine for about 3yrs before she moved to the US to get residency training. Dr. Janga completed her Pediatrics residency training at Woodhull Medical Center affiliated with New York University School of Medicine, New York and graduated in June 2017. Upon completion of her residency, she moved to New Iberia to work as Primary Care Pediatrician in the Pediatric Group of Acadiana.
Dr. Ravali Bandaru
​Dr. Ravali Bandaru attended Gandhi Medical College and received her medical degree from N.T.R University of Health Sciences, India in 2009. She completed her Pediatric residency training at Brooklyn Hospital Center / Weill Cornell Medical College, New York and graduated in 2011. Upon completion of her residency, she moved to New Iberia to work as Primary Care Pediatrician in the Pediatric group of Acadiana. She is married to Dr. Krishna Janumpally who works as a Primary Care Pediatrician in the Pediatric Group. They have a 3 year old son. Dr. Ravali Bandaru is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics
Dr. Deepa Vasireddy
Dr Deepa Vasireddy is originally from Mumbai,India and received her medical degree from Padmashree Dr D.Y.Patil Medical College. She completed her Pediatrics residency training in 2015 where she served as chief resident at Monmouth Medical Center affiliated with Drexel University College of Medicine. She was awarded the Herbert Poch, MD Award in recognition for being an exemplary teacher and physician and the A.J.Cilento research award –Perinatal Medicine during her training years. Dr Vasireddy is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is currently practicing at the Lafayette-Maurice Pediatric Group Of Acadiana location and in her free time likes to paint on canvas and write poetry.
Dr. Lori LeBlanc Toups
​Dr. Lori LeBlanc Toups received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in Shreveport, where she also completed her residency training in Pediatrics. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has been practicing in New Iberia, LA since 2010. Dr. Toups is from Erath, LA and is married to Kevin Toups also of Erath. Together they have two sons.
Dr. Mary Saleme
Dr. Mary Saleme is originally from Morgan City, LA, where her father practiced Pediatrics for over 35 years, inspiring her to follow in his footsteps. She graduated from the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau, LA. She received her medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans where she also completed her residency training in General Pediatrics. Dr. Saleme was certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 2002, and practiced in South Mississippi for 5 years prior to moving back to the Acadiana area.
Dr. Ramakrishna Kasindula
​Dr. Ramakrishna Kasindula attended Guntur Medical College, Guntur and received his M.B.B.S degree from N.T.R University of Health Sciences in India in 2002. Dr. Kasindula moved to Trinidad and Tobago , the Caribbean Island to study and practice Pediatric medicine in University of West Indies. He joined in University Hospital as a resident then promoted as Registrar in Pediatric Emergency Department where he served for 4 yrs before he moved to U.S.A to get his residency training. Dr. Kasindula completed his Pediatrics residency training at Brooklyn Hospital Center / Weill Cornell Medical College, New York. Dr. Kasindula moved to Ohio after completion of his residency to join Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical center, Cambridge where he served as a Pediatric attending for 2 yrs before he moved to Lafayette to work as Primary Care Pediatrician in Pediatric group of Acadiana. Dr. Kasindula is Board Certified by American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Henry Eikel
​Dr. Henry Eikel received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency training in Pediatrics. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and practiced in the New Orleans area for 8 years prior to moving to New Iberia.
Dr. Maria Beslin
​Dr. Maria Charina Tan Beslin hails from a family of doctors and has been on this path since she was a child. She attended the Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines for her medical degree. She finished her Pediatric residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai -Elmhurst Hospital. She has a fellowship training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, NY. She has a special interest in respiratory viruses and has publications on human metapneumovirus and influenza vaccines. She worked at Rapides Women’s and Children’s hospital and LSU Huey P. Long hospital in Alexandria, LA before moving to the North Lafayette clinic. She is married to Luke Beslin, a local attorney from Rayne, LA.
Dr. Shelly Thompson
​Acadiana native, Dr. Shelly Thompson, received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana in 2005. Upon completion of her residency training in General Pediatrics in Shreveport, she returned home and began practicing in New Iberia. She is married and has one daughter.
Dr. Krishna Janumpally
Dr. Krishna Janumpally attended Kakatiya Medical College and received his medical degree from N.T.R University of Health Sciences in India in 2006. He received Masters of Public Health degree from East Tennessee State University in 2008. He completed his Pediatrics residency training at Brooklyn Hospital Center, New York. He then moved to New Iberia to work as a Primary Care Pediatrician with the Pediatric group of Acadiana. He is married to Dr. Ravali Bandaru, who is doing her Pediatrics residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, New York.
Dr. Walter Scott
Dr. Walter Scott has practiced Pediatrics in New Iberia since 1983. He received his M.D. from Tulane in 1979 and completed his residency in 1982 at Tulane. He worked one year at Charity Hospital in New Orleans in the Pediatric Emergency prior to coming home and was board certified in Pediatrics in 1983. He began his family and practice here in 1983 and raised 5 children. He is married to a New Iberia native – Lynn Gilchrist Scott. His hobbies include vegetable gardening, fishing, and woodworking – all of which he is not particularly good at but bring him great joy.
Dr. Jibran Atwi
​Dr. Jibran Atwi received his M.D. from the American University of Beirut in the country of Lebanon. He trained in Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein Medical College in New York and in Allergy at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He is board certified in Allergy and Pediatrics. Dr.Atwi has been practicing since 1991. He is married to Dr. Celina Atwi and has seven children; Carla, Noah, Tiago, Mateo, Andreas, Eugene and Franco. Dr.Atwi is a gardener at heart.
Dr. Julie McMurphy
Dr. Julie McMurphy has been in practice for 20 years. She practiced in Missouri for 15 years but relocated to Louisiana in 2020. She received her medical degree from The University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her residency at Geisinger Medical Center. She is board certified in pediatrics since 2001. Dr McMurphy is married to Dallas McMurphy and has 2 children Emily and Levi. Her hobbies include spending time on the water and traveling.
Lacie S. Moore, PA-C
Lacie S. Moore, PA-C is a Physician Associate with over 10 years experience in the field of Pediatrics. Lacie attended LSU-Alexandria and obtained an undergraduate degree in biology before later attending Mercy College in New York to complete the Physician Assistant, M.S. program in 2011. Originally from Alexandria, La, Lacie currently resides in Lafayette Parish with her husband J.C. and their four incredible children, Stafford, Eva Claire, Jude and Camille. Lacie loves all things country music and is a passionate sports fan. Her number one priority is helping children and providing exceptional care for all.
Dr. Rebecca Doise
Dr. Doise is a pediatrician with over 30 years of experience. She attended LSU medical School in New Orleans. She was then in General Pediatric practice in Opelousas , LA for about 10 years, before she began working in Pediatric Emergency Departments both in Baton Rouge and Lafayette for the past 20 years. She joined Pediatric Group Of Acadiana at the Carencro Location in September of 2023. She is raising 2 young grandchildren and resides in the Carencro area. She is seeing patients from newborn to adolescence.
